Summary

This pilot study from the University of Michigan is testing whether changing sleep timing and using morning light therapy can improve symptoms and quality of life in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. About 68 adults with active IBD symptoms and impaired quality of life will participate. The study focuses on symptom relief and mood improvement, not a cure.
