Could better sleep be the key to quitting cigarettes?
NCT ID NCT07328594
Summary
This study is testing whether a prescription sleep medicine called daridorexant can help people quit smoking. Researchers want to see if improving sleep quality and daytime alertness during the first three weeks of quitting makes it easier to stay smoke-free. The study will involve 44 adult smokers who are willing to try to quit or cut back for three weeks while tracking their sleep and alertness.
