First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests if transplanting healthy bacteria into the nose can reduce symptoms of chronic sinusitis, a condition where sinuses stay inflamed for months. About 50 adults with chronic sinusitis will receive either a bacteria transplant or a placebo, then switch groups later. The goal is to see if this approach improves symptoms and quality of life better than current treatments.
