First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compares a single, higher-dose radiation treatment to the usual multiple sessions (5-10) for people with cancer that has spread. The goal is to see if one strong dose can control pain and other symptoms for at least 12 months. About 100 adults with metastatic cancer who would normally get multiple radiation sessions will take part.
