This study tested whether extra simulation-based team training for doctors and nurses in pediatric departments improves teamwork, patient safety, and outcomes like newborn Apgar scores. About 1,200 healthcare workers from eight departments took part, with half receiving the training and half serving as a control group. The researchers measured sick leave, safety culture, and Apgar scores before and after the training period.
