Summary

This study tested a treatment called Perineural Injection Treatment (PIT) against TENS (a common electrical stimulation therapy) for people with shoulder pain. 32 adults with shoulder pain from conditions like rotator cuff issues or frozen shoulder received two sessions of either PIT or TENS over two weeks, plus exercise. The goal was to see which treatment better reduced pain and improved daily function.
