First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a shorter course of radiation (2–4 weeks instead of 6–7) for men whose prostate cancer came back after prostate removal. The goal was to find the shortest schedule that is safe and tolerable. 30 men participated, and the researchers focused on giving a higher dose to the visible tumor while reducing radiation to the surrounding area.
