Sound wave device zaps artery calcium, could save limbs

Summary

This study is testing a device that uses sound waves to break up calcium buildup in the leg arteries of people with peripheral artery disease. The goal is to improve blood flow, reduce pain, and help people walk better. About 50 participants will be followed for one year to see if the treatment works well and is safe.
