Shock waves may calm overactive bladder in women with metabolic syndrome

Summary

This study tests if low-energy shock wave therapy can safely reduce overactive bladder symptoms like sudden urges and frequent urination in women with metabolic syndrome. About 60 women will receive either real or sham treatment. Researchers will track symptom changes using questionnaires and bladder diaries over 24 weeks.
