NCT ID NCT06281444
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether adding radial shock wave therapy to a standard exercise program helps people with knee osteoarthritis feel less pain and walk farther. 72 adults aged 50-85 with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis took part. The treatment involved four sessions of shock waves, and the results were compared to a group that received a fake (sham) treatment plus exercise.
