Summary

This study measures two blood proteins, LRFN5 and OLFM4, in people with methamphetamine use disorder, those with methamphetamine-induced psychosis, and healthy volunteers. What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could help identify blood markers that indicate inflammation or severity of symptoms in methamphetamine-related disorders.

What could go wrong

This is an early observational study, not a treatment trial. It may not find clear links between the markers and the conditions, and results may not apply to all patients.
