Summary

This phase 2 trial tests whether mirtazapine, an antidepressant, can help adults who are already receiving medication for opioid use disorder to stop or reduce their methamphetamine use. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either mirtazapine or a placebo for 10 weeks, alongside their usual treatment. The study measures methamphetamine abstinence through urine tests and also tracks sleep improvements.
