NCT ID NCT07460024
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a set of standard steps for treating sepsis—like quick blood tests, fluids, and antibiotics—can help patients get better faster. About 120 adults with sepsis or septic shock in the emergency department or ICU will be included. Researchers will compare outcomes before and after the new protocol is put in place to see if it improves survival and shortens hospital stays.
