First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether a standard set of emergency steps—like quick blood tests, fluids, and antibiotics—can improve survival for adults with sepsis or septic shock. About 120 patients will be compared: some treated before the new protocol and some after. The goal is to get life-saving care started within one hour for at least 60% of patients.
