Diabetes drug semaglutide could help curb cocaine cravings

Summary
This study tests whether semaglutide, a drug used for diabetes and weight loss, can help people with cocaine use disorder reduce their cocaine use. About 75 adults will receive the drug along with counseling. The study measures brain responses, cravings, and drug use to see if the treatment works.
