First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether certain genes influence how people respond to a meal and a single dose of metformin, a common diabetes medication. Over 1,000 adults without diabetes will take a special drink and then have their blood sugar and other markers measured. The goal is to understand why some people may be more prone to diabetes based on their genetics.
