Shorter radiation may be safer for recurrent prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT06205316

First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether a precise, short-course radiation therapy (SBRT) works as well as a slightly longer radiation schedule for men whose prostate cancer has come back or spread to a few spots after surgery. About 118 men will receive either SBRT or hypofractionated radiation. The goal is to see which approach causes fewer serious side effects while controlling the cancer.
