First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at how many people with gastrointestinal cancer are at risk for sarcopenia, a condition where muscle mass and strength are lost. Sarcopenia can make cancer treatment harder and lower quality of life. Researchers will use a simple questionnaire (SARC-F) to screen 60 adult patients before and during their cancer treatment.
