Summary

This completed study looked at how common muscle loss (sarcopenia) is in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers compared 43 Parkinson's patients (early and moderate stages) with 22 healthy adults. They used ultrasound to measure thigh muscle thickness, handgrip strength, and a sit-to-stand test to assess muscle health.
