NCT ID NCT06259409

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing whether a new device called Regenn® Negative Pressure Therapy System is safe for people recovering from spinal fusion surgery. The device applies gentle suction to the surgical wound to help manage healing. About 30 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the new device or a similar existing device. Researchers will track serious complications, pain levels, and other side effects over three months.

Active substance

Regenn® Negative Pressure Therapy System (a device that applies gentle suction to a surgical wound)

What this could lead to

If safe, this device could offer a new option for managing surgical wounds after spinal surgery, potentially reducing complications.

What could go wrong

This is a very early (Phase 1) safety study with only 30 people. It is not designed to prove the device works better than existing options, and unexpected side effects are possible.
