First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a sun protection program for children playing baseball in rural Utah and West Virginia. Researchers will observe whether kids on teams using the program apply sunscreen, wear hats and long sleeves, and seek shade more often than those on teams that don't. The goal is to reduce skin cancer risk by encouraging better sun safety habits.
