First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can safely reduce depression in 80 autistic youth and young adults. Participants receive either real or fake rTMS sessions to see if the treatment improves mood and reduces suicidal thoughts. The goal is to find a well-tolerated, non-medication option for this group.
