Summary

This study tested a new nasal spray vaccine for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a common cause of serious breathing problems in babies and young children. The vaccine was given as nose drops to 88 healthy children aged 4 months to 5 years, including those who had and had not been infected with RSV before. The goal was to see if the vaccine is safe and helps the body build immunity against RSV.
