New MRI scan may predict prostate cancer treatment outcomes

NCT ID NCT04349501

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a special type of MRI, called RSI-MRI, can predict how well prostate cancer responds to radiation and hormone therapy. About 100 men with high-risk, localized prostate cancer will get this MRI before and during treatment. The goal is to see if the scan can identify who might have their cancer come back within three years.
