New MRI scan may predict prostate cancer outcomes
NCT ID NCT04349501
First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special type of MRI, called RSI-MRI, can predict how well high-risk prostate cancer patients respond to radiation and hormone therapy. About 100 adult men with high-risk, localized prostate cancer will get an RSI-MRI scan before and during treatment. Researchers will track if the scan can identify patients whose cancer returns within 3 years.
