First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

This study tests whether taking royal jelly, a bee product, can improve sperm DNA quality and pregnancy rates in couples with unexplained infertility. Eighty men will take either royal jelly or a placebo daily for three months. Researchers will measure sperm damage, hormone levels, and how many couples become pregnant naturally.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, natural supplement to improve sperm health and increase chances of pregnancy for couples with unexplained infertility.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 80 participants. The supplement may not improve pregnancy rates, and results may not apply to everyone.
