First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new, less expensive surgical technique called the 'Grand-Knot' for repairing full-thickness rotator cuff tears in the shoulder. 160 patients aged 45-75 were randomly assigned to get either the new technique or the standard anchor repair. Researchers measured shoulder function, pain, and tendon healing over at least 2.5 years to see which method works better.
