Dentists test which tool hurts less after root canals
NCT ID NCT07510490
Summary
This study compared two common dental tools used during root canal procedures to see which one leads to less pain for patients afterward. 146 adults with a painful, inflamed tooth nerve received a root canal using either the WaveOne or ProTaper tool system. Patients tracked their pain levels for a week to help dentists choose the technique that provides more comfort.
