Summary
This study looks at whether a technique called 'apical patency'—gently moving a small file past the root tip during cleaning—can lower pain after a root canal. It will involve 48 adults with a dead nerve and infected root tip in a back molar. Participants will be randomly assigned to get the technique or not, and will rate their pain over 72 hours.
