First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 adults with tooth pain from irreversible pulpitis (an inflamed tooth nerve). They were split into two groups: one got a standard single-cone filling, the other a heated continuous-wave filling. The goal was to see which method caused less pain after the procedure. Pain was measured using a simple 0-10 scale before and after treatment.
