Robot heart scan could bring specialist care to remote islands

NCT ID NCT07265986

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a robot-assisted remote ultrasound can measure heart function as accurately as a standard in-person ultrasound. About 50 adults with or at risk for heart failure will get both types of scans. The goal is to see if remote scans can help patients on smaller islands get better heart care without traveling.
