Robot companions tested to boost mood in dementia care
NCT ID NCT05296239
Summary
This study tested whether a friendly robot could help people with dementia or memory problems feel more socially connected and engaged. For three weeks, residents, their families, and staff in an assisted living community tried using a robot that led activities like trivia and gave reminders. The main goal was to see how well people accepted the robot and what made it easy or hard to use in their daily environment.
