Eye fluid holds clues to saving sight in kids with retinoblastoma

NCT ID NCT04959097

First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study collects medical information and fluid from the front of the eye (aqueous humor) from up to 800 children with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer. Researchers aim to find genetic markers in the fluid that can predict whether the eye can be saved with treatment and identify inherited mutations. The goal is to improve future care without directly treating participants.
