Summary

This study aims to understand how resistance exercise (like weight lifting) helps muscles use insulin better to control blood sugar. Researchers at Mayo Clinic will study 16 sedentary adults who are weight-stable. Participants will undergo exercise training, and scientists will measure how their muscles build proteins in response to insulin.
