Summary

This study looked at whether a progressive resistance training program could help older adults with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss) control their high blood pressure. 77 sedentary adults aged 60 and older participated. The goal was to see if building muscle strength could be a drug-free way to manage blood pressure.
