Summary

This completed trial tested a program called RESET, led by community health workers, to improve physical and mental health in 457 older adults (age 50+) in Detroit. Participants joined weekly group phone calls and listened to podcasts on topics like positive thinking, exercise, and social connection. The goal was to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, pain, fatigue, and loneliness. Results are still being analyzed.
