Summary
This phase 2 trial tested whether adding reparixin to standard care helps adults with moderate to severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) recover faster. The study enrolled 66 people on ventilators and measured changes in oxygen use and days off the ventilator. The goal was to see if reparixin reduces lung inflammation and improves outcomes.
