New study checks safety of injectable remsima for arthritis and psoriasis
NCT ID NCT05866614
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is observing about 881 people with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, or psoriasis who are taking Remsima (a biologic drug) either as a shot under the skin or through an IV. The goal is to track any serious side effects over time. Researchers want to see if the subcutaneous form is as safe as the IV form in real-world use.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Remsima (infliximab) given as a subcutaneous injection or intravenous infusion
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could confirm that Remsima SC is a safe and convenient option for managing these chronic inflammatory conditions.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so it cannot prove cause and effect. Results may be influenced by other factors, and rare side effects may not be detected.
