NCT ID NCT05960695
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether adding relaxation exercises (like deep breathing) to stretching can reduce pain and improve quality of life in women with primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods). Twenty sedentary women aged 18-25 participated. The experimental group did both stretching and relaxation exercises, while the control group did only stretching. Researchers measured pain levels, menstrual symptoms, and quality of life.
