First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding physical therapy and personalized nutrition to standard care helps patients with a serious heart infection (endocarditis) feel better mentally and physically during their long hospital stay. The study planned to enroll 15 adults but was terminated early. The goal was to see if these extra supports could improve quality of life and reduce muscle loss and digestive problems caused by strong antibiotics.
