First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested three different scaffold materials (blood clot, platelet-rich fibrin, and concentrated growth factor) combined with two different rinses to help regenerate infected immature permanent teeth in 30 patients aged 9 to 25. The goal was to see which combination best promotes root growth, closes the tip of the tooth, and reduces infection. Participants were followed for 12 months with clinical exams and 3D X-rays to measure healing.
