Pilates study shows promise for couch potatoes
NCT ID NCT07257731
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week Reformer Pilates program could help inactive women become stronger, more balanced, and improve their quality of life. Researchers worked with 57 sedentary women, with half doing Pilates twice a week and half continuing their normal routine. They measured things like how many times participants could stand up from a chair in a minute and how far they could reach without losing balance.
