Blood markers may predict arthritis progression

NCT ID NCT07536529

First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how oxidative stress (an imbalance of harmful free radicals and protective antioxidants in the blood) relates to the progression of autoimmune joint diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Researchers will measure specific blood markers in 200 adults at three time points over one year. The goal is to see if these markers can help doctors better monitor disease progression in the future.
