NCT ID NCT07105670

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether replacing red meat with plant-based protein can lower levels of certain gut toxins in people with stage 3 chronic kidney disease. Fifteen participants will try both a vegetarian diet and a diet with red meat, with a break in between. Researchers will measure toxins in blood and urine to see if diet makes a difference.
