Researchers seek clues to persistent bowel issues after rectal cancer
NCT ID NCT06914245
Summary
This study aims to understand why many rectal cancer patients continue to experience bowel problems long after their treatment ends. Researchers will follow 150 patients for 12 months after surgery or other treatments to identify factors that predict these persistent symptoms. The goal is to gather information that will help doctors create better, more personalized care plans for future patients dealing with similar issues.
