NCT ID NCT07424768
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at a single surgery to correct hypospadias in children who had already had one repair. Hypospadias is a birth defect where the opening of the urethra is not at the tip of the penis. The surgery used a technique called tubularized incised plate urethroplasty. The study included 15 children and measured how often the repair was successful and what complications occurred, such as fistulas or narrowing. The goal was to see if this single-stage approach is a good option for repeat repairs.
