First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested a new way to deliver radiation (hypofractionated stereotactic radiotherapy) to people with non-secreting pituitary adenomas that remained or came back after initial treatment. The goal was to see if this approach is safer for nearby structures like the optic nerve while still controlling tumor growth. 25 adults were treated and followed for side effects, vision changes, hormone function, and quality of life.
