Patient education may shorten hospital stays after pituitary surgery

NCT ID NCT07618949

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether giving patients clear, standardized instructions before and after pituitary surgery can improve their recovery. Researchers will compare hospital stay length, complication rates, and unplanned readmissions in 102 adults having elective surgery. The goal is to see if better patient education alone, without changing surgical or medical care, leads to better outcomes.
