First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding breathing muscle training to standard rehab helps people with rheumatoid arthritis who also have lung disease. Researchers will measure changes in exercise ability, breathlessness, and a specific gene (HOTAIR) linked to inflammation. About 39 adults will take part, and results will show if this extra training improves quality of life and genetic markers.
