First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study of 60 people with cirrhosis measured quadriceps (thigh) strength and compared it to standard frailty and malnutrition scores. The goal was to see if a simple leg strength test could replace more complex frailty assessments. No treatment was given; it was purely an observational study to improve how doctors evaluate frailty in cirrhosis.
