NCT ID NCT06096792
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study looked at 20 people aged 50-75 who had knee replacement surgery for arthritis. Researchers measured how much the thigh muscle (quadriceps) was inhibited right after surgery and checked walking and sit-to-stand tests at 2 and 6 weeks. The goal was to understand how early muscle weakness affects recovery, so rehab can be better planned.
