First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether qigong (a gentle mind-body exercise) or multicomponent exercise (a mix of activities) can reduce panic and anxiety symptoms in people with panic disorder. Researchers will measure changes in panic severity, anxiety, balance, walking, sleep, fatigue, pain, and quality of life. The goal is to find a low-cost, supportive treatment option for the one-third of patients who don't fully respond to standard therapy.
